Not too much at all: If done right and not hitting the cartilage or bone, it is basically a quick needle stick...Some docs even spray you with a cold-spray (ethyl chloride) to reduce the sting of the needle stick...I would not fret too much over it..It is a quick procedure....Matters of seconds.
