I am pregnant and just had a spot of blood in my urine - what's going on?

Blood in urine: It could be an early UTI. It could also be spotting from recent sex, a vaginal exam or vaginal ultrasound evaluation. Also during pregnancy the cervix is usually friable (bleeds easily) and can do it for no reason at all. If it persists or worsens, it never hurts to call your OB provider just to report it.
