When the small balloon deflate?when does it inflate?compare it to the lung;when does the lung inflate?when does it inflate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Alveoli: You are probably referring to tiny bubbles called alveoli at the end of the airways. They are the breathing units of the lung that exchange oxygen for carbon dioxide. Alveoli inflate during inhalation and deflate during exhalation.
