Personality : Disorders are very hard to cure. Usually, people feel comfortable with their personality and see no need to change. The place to start is with parts of their personality that they are uncomfortable with (i.e. Neurotic parts). Slow minimal progress can be made.

Generally Not: Personality disorders are generally not curable. They can be modified in some cases with a lot of therapy over a long time. However, since those with narcissistic pd are likely to think that if there is a problem then it someone else and not themselves, they often are not very amenable to therapy actually working.
