Tequila: I don't know the glycemic index of Tequila but you can drink a small amount from time to time. On the day you are going to have Tequila please check your blood sugar before dinner and again at two hour after dinner and Tequila. This should give you an idea of how much you need to increase your pre-meal insulin when you know you are going to enjoy Tequila.
