Bleeding: It depends. If it is bright red blood it could be an area of irritation at surgery site or anastomosis, an ulcer, a blood vessel or other complication of surgery. Other conditions unrelated to surgery such as hemorrhoids and diverticulosis can result in bleeding. You need to talk with your doctor to clarify what you are noting.
