Where is your appendix?

In almost all: Cases, in the right lower quadrant of abdomen. However, the tip of it can lie in the pelvis, behind the cecum in the retrocecal position, right upper quadrant, or even on the left side. So the pain could be in any of these locations.

Right lower abdomen: Usually located in right lower quadrant of abdomen. Appendix sits at the junction of the small intestine and large intestine. It’s a thin tube about four inches long.
