Time to visit MD: If you are having pain in your ribs when you walk, I recommend you get a physical exam. Did you have trauma to your ribs? Do you get pain when you take a deep breath in? Be able to point to the location with one finger and discuss onset, location, how long it lasts, where the pain radiates to, and any alleviating or associated factors. Good luck.
