Proctitis: It sounds like you may have a serious case of proctitis. Mucus is found in the rectum normally, but probably production is increased now by whatever disease you have. Various inflammatory diseases of the bowel can cause your symptoms: whether they are infectious (gonorrhea, shigella etc) or noninfectious conditions (IBS, IBD etc). Best to see a doctor to get a diagnosis and a good treatment plan.
