A member asked:

If a black hair can turn white prematurely, is it possible for a white hair to regain color somehow, ever, naturally?

It depends: When a white hair falls out, new hair will likely be white but you never know by taking better care of ourselves.

If you have a: correctable cause - possibly. Whitening of hair is related to genetic predisposition. Age of initial graying is largely a matter of genetics. However stressors: nutritional deficiencies, chemotherapy, traumatic head injuries, low vitamin B levels, zinc deficiency, severe illness, surgery & marked emotional stress may impact earlier depigmentation in people who are already predisposed to gray hair.
