What happens if i don't start birth control on the sunday after my period?

Start as soon as: Once you are on 28 pills pack, you should start the new pack day after your 28th pill is taken so if you start on sunday you will always start a new pack on sunday.But if you start on monday or tuesday you will start the new pack on monday or tuesday.
