A member asked:

How quickly should my period start after i stopped taking birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Soon: Most people start bleeding after they have stopped taking the birth control, but it depends where you are in the pack when you stop it. If you stop taking the pill during the beginning of the pack, you may not start bleeding for a month. If you stop taking the pill toward the end of the pack, normally you will stop bleeding right away.
