Several: An oral mucous cyst is a collection of saliva caused by several things. They include cystic formation, extravasation cyst via trauma( biting your lip, etc), and salivary tumor formation. Most will require surgical excicsion and can be done by an oral surgeon, dentist, or ENT surgeon depending on your comfort level with each doctor.
