A member asked:

Why do i keep getting pneumonia ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Recurrent Pneumonia: One common cause is misdiagnosis. Not knowing your case, i can't say this is what's going on, but a lot of disease get called "pneumonia" when in fact there is something else going on. There are some cause of recurring pneumonia however such as immunological system deficiencies, aspiration (choking bacteria into the lungs), and underlying lung diseases that haven't been diagnosed. See a lung doc.
