Technically , yes: People who are confined to lying around (like after a stroke) often get pneumonia but if you're up and around some part of the day, you won't get pneumonia from spending part of the day "lying around".

No: You can get pneumonia from a virus or bacteria. You can also get pneumonia from acid reflux which means fluid from your stomach gets sucked into your lungs.
