Not really: It is not recommended that antibiotics be given for bronchitis in patients with normal immune systems who don't have chronic lung disease. Poeple given placebos get better just as fast as people given antibiotics. Which means that when it comes to treating bronchitis, antibiotics are placebos, and amoxicillin-clavulinic acid is a pretty harsh placebo.
