Unusual combo: Problems with the eye and ear are usually amazingly independent of each other. It is unusual to have vision changes with a routine ear infection, unless it is related to a reaction to medication you are taking, or just mildly blurred vision that happens when a person is ill. If the vision has significantly changed, an eye exam is indicated to determine the exact cause.
