Better see / call MD: She needs assessment, can still be a viral infection, but may have progressed and secondary bacterial infection kicked in, probably will need Rx medicines and antibiotics, best wishes

Mgt: A virtual consult may be booked online, but she should see urgent care soon. I agree that she may have a bacterial illness. Has she had a fever, headache, or rash? Many pediatric ear infections may be associated with a bacterial illness and children may carry bacterial in their nasal passages for a prolonged time.
