Sometimes: Usually mosquito bites only last up to a few days; however, in those people who have a delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction to them, they can last much longer. Cortisone cream usually works well. If it doesn't, i'd consider seeing the doc - high potency topical steroids might be needed. Remember, scratching can lead to infection.
