Low thyroid function: Tsh or thyroid stimulating hormone is a pituitary hormone signaling the thyroid gland to produce hormone. 8.2 is an elevated level (modestly elevated) and suggests hypothyroidism. Rarely TSH will elevate with a pituitary tumor, but very rare.
