Meniscal tear: Menisci cannot be seen in xray . Mri is the investigation of choice.

No: No, the meniscus is made of cartilage, which is a soft tissue and as such does not show up on plain X-ray. MRI and arthrogram are the two most common ways to visualize a tear of the meniscus.
