Will need workup: As too many things can cause this, you should have a full workup including causes of neuropathy and possibly rheumatologic issues. The burning hands and feet sound like something called stocking-glove distribution of neuropathy often associated with diabetes and other polyneuropathies. The knee pain, if related to your neuropathy could be rheumatologic or separate issue. Best to have workup.
