UTI antibiotics: Factive (gemifloxacin) is a newer fluoroquinolone antibiotic and isn't more toxic than the other antibiotics we would consider using. It should be fine, although the cheaper drugs Bactrim and Cipro (ciprofloxacin) should also work just as well.
