Really depends: On what caused it. The most common types of problems that cause stuffy nose include allergies, a cold (viral infection), sinus infection(bacterial). Allergy problems likely will persist until treated or the offending allergen disappears from the air as they are usually seasonal. Viral infection could cause congestion for a couple if days to a couple of weeks. Sinus infection could be longer.
