Any other meds?: If not on other meds, and continued itching after symptomatic treatment, look toward environmental issues such as detergents, even infestations if lesions present. If nothing else found, make sure you check with your primary. Certain other issues, such as liver failure, can lead to itchy skin, but doubt that would be your only sign. Most likely environmental issues.

Get a physical: Sometimes, itching can be due to problems other than allergies. Problems with your liver can cause itching. Get a physical and have some blood work.

OTC: Those are otc meds so i assume you have not seen a doc. See an allergist or dermatologist but also make sure you have a chemistry and a TSH done.
