Seeing patients, answering telephone calls from patients. Also, reviewing patient documents.: I am glad you asked this question, because being a doctor in my opinion is wonderful. I am a family doctor and the day today demands include seeing your patients on the days that you are scheduled, and taking care of your patients on the days you are not working. When I am in the office i usually see about 25 to 30 patients a day. During my lunch hour i usually answer any telephone calls that may have come in during the day. After i get home from work, i spend time with my husband and children. After everyone is in bed, i finish up the notes of the patients i saw during the day and review any patient documents that might have come in.
