No symptoms: Some people may not be prone to exhibit symptoms with insect bites. Some people release more histamine in response to bite reactions and have more severe symptoms. It is important to be sure to exclude bedbugs in spite of your partner not exhibiting symptoms. Other causes could be pressure urticaria. See your dermatologist for definitive diagnosis and management.

Scabies?: Could possibly be scabies or bed bugs. It's possible for one person to get a reaction but not the partner due to immune system differences. Or you could have another problem such as folliculitis. See your doctor or dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
