Probably yes: Typically ice pops are soothing, and would not be harmful.

Throat: It depends on reason of inflammation. Though it may not fix the problem, it probably would help with symptoms of sore throat.

Feels better: While it will not actually make your sore throat go away, the cold ice pop may make it feel temporarily better. If you have a sore throat for more then three days than you ought to have an evaluation by your doctor as it could be strep throat and require antibiotics to resolve.

Help you feel better: An incredible number of students w/non-strep sore throats came thru student health yesterday. No antibiotics were indicated (necessary). Just ice pops (great idea!), hot tea w/honey, and otc pain relievers. That & time. Hope you're feeling better soon.
