Conjunctivitis: Conjunctivitis, or pink eye, is most commonly caused by a virus, but can also be due to bacteria as well. You are very contagious, so avoid close contacts with others. Treatment for viral infections consists of keeping your eye as clean as possible and using artificial tears until better. Often, antibiotic drops are used as well to treat the possibility of a bacterial cause.

Sounds: Like you do. It is caused by a bacteria and needs antibiotic drops. You need to see a doctor for a prescription.
