Not sure: What doc was looking for so it is difficult to answer. Esr tests for non-specific inflammation. Elisa is a specific test for antibodies to something.

No: Elisa is an incomplete answer, and is related to a type of testing, not the actual test itself. Esr is just the rate of sedimentation of your red cells, and is a general measure of inflammation.
