HIV is Hard to Get: Nope. 95% of those infected will test positive by three months. It is thought to be up to six months to get 100% accuracy with this simple antibody test. If one has a high risk worry then you can get 100% accuracy with the more powerful HIV RNA viral test from day 21 forward.
