Work w/oncologist: If you have cancer that is spreading (metastasizing) to lymph nodes, you really need to be getting treatment from a board-certified oncologist. Treatments vary with the type of cancer one has, and how far it has spread. Please work with your doctor on this.

Depends: If we have found cancer in nodes from an unknown primary origin after exhaustive imaging & work-up, the pathology findings from the lymph node dissection may result in recommendations for chemotherapy & radiation.
