Depression: Identifying and removing the problem is the best way to treat it. Psychological approach is one of the conventional ways of treatment. Medication is used as well. I find a lot that people tend not to treat the cause but only the symptoms. I hope it wont be your case.

Depression: There is no "one best" cure for depression. The best cure for depression is a patchwork quilt of combined approaches. Sleeping at least 7.5 to 8 hours/ night, daily physical activity, healthful eating, possibly psychiatric medications, some form of talking therapy (cognitive behavioral therapy, insight oriented, etc), time w nature, acupuncture, etc. The strongest approach is strong motivation!

See below: Agree with my colleagues. There's no 'best cure", it's very person specific. Some things you can do building up awareness of your sx. Creating a "crisis card" for people to contact and things to do when your symptoms become overwhelming. Working on finding out triggers, self-care routine, sleep hygiene. Qualified mental health professional will help guiding you through the process.
