14 days before: Ovulation occurs 14 days before the next menstrual cycle. This is the best time to have intercourse if you are trying to conceive. If you don't want to get pregnant please use condoms and birth control. Relying on cycle timing is very unreliable.

2 weeks after cycle : It is a good rule to assume that most women ovulate 2 weeks after start of last cycle. You are most fertile a couple of days before you ovulate. It is an educated guess that you will be most fertile 10-14 days after the start of your cycle.
