See an oncologist: Treatment for cancer depends on the organ of origin. For metastatic carcinoma, it will likely be use of some form of chemotherapy or targeted therapy. It varies for each different organ of origin.

Chemotherapy: Once a cancer has spread outside the organ of origin, systemic chemotherapy is the standard of care. In some cases this will be done in combination with radiation therapy.
