Psoas: Generally, no. The psoas starts along the anterior aspect of the lumbar spine and attaches below the hip on the lesser trochanter. Perhaps some groin pain would be felt.

Psoas is generally: Hard to feel because it's so deep in your body. It can compress your spine when spastic and you change positions from sitting to standing giving your a 'catch' or dull crushing ache. You can't feel it in the belly, only it's tendon in the groin.
