Is it possible to get normal warts on you and it not be genital warts?

Yes: You mean hand/foot warts(there is no "normal" warts). Yes. The hpvs cause hand warts or plantar warts are different from the ones cause genital warts. But hand/foot wart viruses still can present on the genital skin if genital skin is broken/injured for some reason. When that happen, the appearance of the warts on genitalia looks different from "typical" genital warts.
