No, it shouldn't: Kidney stones shouldn't directly stop a bowel movement. Kidney stones are however very painful and one may be afraid to force down during a bowel movement for fear of more pain.Also pain medications, such as narcotics can cause constipation. Kidney stones itself have no direct relationship with the bowel.They can pass only via the urine-not stool.Hope this helps!
