Some do: Some iron pills have a bitter taste. Others have a coating that acts as a barrier between the bad-tasting part of the pill and your taste buds. These are typically labelled as "enteric coated" or "delayed release". Iron in the form of a gel capsule also doesn't have a bad taste.
