Possibly....: Your symptoms may be due to acute bronchitis, an infection of the airways. This could also be due to pneumonia, an infection of the lung parenchyma, especially if a fever is present. In order to be diagnosed and treated, see your doctor. Depending on the findings, you may need an antibiotic. If you smoke, you need to quit to decrease airway inflammation.
