See below: Amoxicillin is an antibiotic that has activity against a number of gram positive and negative bacteria. Many of these bacteria are also resistant to Amoxicillin as it has been used for so long and on so many people. It is used to treat strep throat, susceptable enterococcal and e. Coli infections like uti's etc. All drugs have an expiration date on the bottle.
