Not usually.: Anal skin tags may be present, but have little to do with anal sphincter tone and competence of stool retention. See a colorectal surgeon or start with your family doctor, both can be dealt with, though these are really separate and unrelated things.

Anal skin tags: Tags do not cause incontinence of feces. If you are leaking stool, you need to see your gastroenterologist for an evaluation.
