5.8 blood glucose before bed, should i be concerned?

What test?: We need to know if you are referring to a Hba1c level or to a blood sugar result in mmol/L. If it is a Hba1c, it is very slightly above normal. This may or may not indicate a true problem with your sugar. If it is a blood glucose level, it would depend on when you ate last as to whether it is normal or not. In both cases, it is not a major problem yet.
