It may slow things: Down a little. Insure that you are hydrating well (at least 64 oz water/ day). Aim for at least 5 servings of veggies and 4 of fruit per day. Moderate dairy use and avoid poor quality carbs. Get daily physical activity. You can try an otc laxative. If these measures don't help with your constipation - then discuss with your doctor.
