Oh my aching nose!: For temporary relief of nasal soreness, you can apply ointments such as vaseline or otc nasal gels to the inner nostrils to relieve the irritation, crusting, scabs and/or bleeding. Of course, the long term solution is to treat the allergies with steroid nasal sprays, antihistamines, allergy shots, etc.To reduce the sneezing and runny nose that is causing the irritation in the first place.
