No: Nicorette (nicotine gum) contains nicotine, which is designed to help you quit smoking. There's no evidence to my knowledge that it causes oral cancer. Good luck with quitting!

No evidence: There isn't any evidence that it increases risk for cancer. The real thing to keep in mind is that smoking is just about the worst (if not the worst) thing one can do to their body. It markedly increases your risk of many types of cancer, including oral and throat cancers!

No: No, but - See oral surgeon or ENT doc if you have any of these symptoms: Persistent mouth sore, persistent mouth pain, a lump or thickening in the cheek, a white/red patch on the gums, tongue, tonsil, or lining of the mouth, a sore throat, hoarseness or feeling that something is caught in the throat that does not go away, difficulty swallowing/chewing.
