Grapes: Wine is made from grapes, and when dark red grapes are used to make wine and the skins are left in the wine a very long time, this can cause a darkening of stool. But this could be sign of internal GI bleeding so it is best to get this check out especially if the stool is sticky, tarry or smelly.
