Possibly...: ...But not as a direct relationship to the surgery. If one feels better post op and is more active, weight loss could occur. If one is sedentary and eats poorly after surgery, weight gain could occur.I don't even know what form of cyst you're referring to, but it really does not matter. Good luck.
