Not possible: There is nothing you can do to reduce tolerance with Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) or any other opioid. This is a characteristic of all drugs in this class.

Tolerance reduction: The best way to reduce tolerance to Norco is to reduce the dose of this medication. If you discuss your concerns with your primary medical doctor then he may be willing to prescribe a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent such as Ibuprofen or even tylenol (acetaminophen) so that the component of pain relief from the Norco will be less and the dose of the Norco can be less.
