Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen): Is a brand name, and a combination of two medications. One is hydrocodone, an opiod, the other is Acetaminophen found in tylenol (acetaminophen). 10 refers to the milligram of hydrocodone. You should only use what your doctor prescribed and do not exceed 6 tablets daily as this builds up tolerance very quickly and high tylenol (acetaminophen) dose can hurt your liver.

10mg: The dose is 10mg of hydrocodone with the second number indicating the amount of Acetaminophen combined with it. You should take it only as directed by your physician. Also, do pay attention to your use of tylenol/acetaminophen. Doses of more than 3000mg/day may cause liver damage.
